For those of you who wish to keep up with my progress, know three things: first, email me at [email protected] with your email address so I may add your name to a contact list. Second, you can always catch me at the Dallas Quilt Show every March at Dallas Market Hall (http://quiltersguildofdallas.org). Third, the last place you can find me on a regular basis is the First United Methodist Church Harvest Craft Bazaar in The Colony, Texas. The show occurs the first Saturday of every October. This year it occurs on October 6. Check the website for more information http://fumctc.org/bazaar/.
Know that it has been a blast posting and sharing all things art from the working studio to daily psychology and artistic temperament. The nine year journey has helped me grow into a little professional even more so than if I had not started the site at all. From what I see, my posts have encouraged conversation in places besides the ether as well. So kudos for us all. At some point in the distant future, I may take to the ether again, but with a longer and more crafted turn of the phrase. On a minor note, I have hopes of writing about the artist's journey in a essay format. That will come with time.
I am grateful to your insights and encouragements over the years. They will get me through to the next accomplishments. Know that it is just this part of the journey that has to come to an end. Other sounds call. Other diversions fall at my feet. Other challenges are being restated. Should I continue to ignore all this opportunity, it will be a sign of immediate failure and the end of a personal era. To prevent that, I am going on to reinvent myself without remorse.
As ever, stay hungry and curious,
~N.A. Jones
