Taking another look it seems I am making buildings that reside in the middle of nowhere. Residents of a former age that still hold their dignity well. What happened after all the window in the glass garden shed broke? Or the last sign of a doctor in a town wiped out by the plague. I'm assuming playtime won't end for me, maybe it will pass on to another.
I've got four more to go and I'm playing with more designs, namely cathedrals. I printedseveral off the internet. One is even Orvieto Cathedral. A friend told me about it long ago on her escapades. I'm willing to make a try at it. Excited even with the breakthrough I had during nap. The notion came about to designing a toy. Orvieto cathedral in the middle accessed by taking off a roof and opening the sides into a playing field. The thought is not one of these role playing games out there, but more for pure innocence. It forms a large square with is the grounds of the church. Pull or push a lever here and there and sheep or buildings pop up on the boards. Any toy animal could be included from the box's reserves or another game. The church sits in the middle having simple and complex sections for opening to the inside. The idea seems very 17th/18th century and maybe irrevelant to the current age, but I'm willing to go as far as designing it to detail for now. I had Joseph Cornell swimming in my brain a while ago on a similar topic. Must unearth that before I lose it forever.
